We understand that choosing the perfect community for your new home comes with many questions. Here, we’ve compiled answers to the most common inquiries about living at Olde Mill Pointe. From community amenities to building guidelines, our goal is to provide you with all the information you need. We are located on Virginia’s beautiful Eastern Shore in Accomack County.

We receive postal mail at 6601 Olde Mill Lane New Church, VA 23415.

 

POA stands for Property Owners Association.  Our particular POA operates more like a Homeowners Association. 

Olde Mill Pointe is a mix of properties containing single-family homes and lots awaiting single-family, residential builds.  All are now privately owned and our community is self-managed.

Olde Mill Pointe is governed by Commonwealth of Virginia law (The Property Owners Association Act and the Virginia Nonstock Corporation Act) and our own community By-laws and Covenants.

Yes. As we are a common interest community, dues are collected annually to maintain the community (roads, amenities, utilities, insurance, etc.) 

Dues are subject to change yearly.

Yes. If you are considering moving to Olde Mill Pointe, please be sure to request an HOA packet from your realtor or home seller.

Olde Mill Pointe is governed by an elected three-member Board of Directors (BOD) and four Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.) An Architectural Review Committee provides preliminary review and communication regarding member projects in accordance with the By-laws and Covenants before passing them to the BOD for final approval.

Olde Mill Pointe is in the Chincoteague School District of Accomack County. Chincoteague High School is ranked #1 in Accomack County.

Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA, Tidal-Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, MD, and Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, MD are the closest hospitals.

Food Lion in Oak Hall, VA and Walmart in Pocomoke, MD are the closest groceries of size.  There is a small grocery store on Chincoteague Island.

We are in District 2 and vote at Atlantic Firehouse Station 4 (10071 Atlantic Rd., Atlantic, Virginia 23303.)
